Charlie Brown Cartoons + Bullying
Charlie Brown is constantly victimized by his so-called "friends."
-Lucy always moves the football so Charlie falls
-Lucy gives psychiatric advice to Charlie even though she has no medical licence (she's screwing with him)
-Charlie's Christmas tree isn't good enough and he's berated
-Charlie's Thanksgiving meal isn't good enough and he's berated
-Not related to his friends but Charlie keeps receiving rocks instead of candy on Halloween so even the adults have it out for
this kid
Why are these cartoons considered so clever when they're all about bullying Charlie Brown? I know Family Guy already made the joke, but he's totally going to end up as some sort of suicidal drug addict due to years of abuse from his "friends."

Friends who are toxic need to be cut out of one's life. Period.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Then this forum will die !!!
The kid that got bullied the most that I remember as a kid, went on to be
one of the most successful.
And ended up employing many of those that had bullied him as a kid.
Life is funny, funnier than most cartoons !

Its a comic - the majority of people with a stable mental capacity are able to see this and get nothing more than a chuckle out of it. Geezus!
Nobody wants to hear your opinion. They just want to hear their own opinion coming out of your mouth.

C. Schulz based his cartoon on the difficulties he himself faced as a misfit/outcast growing-up.
...seems it all worked-out OK for him
...as it usually does for those who refuse to wallow in the lazy "victim mentality" trend

Charles Schultz: In the end, there are no "losers". Some winners just take longer to develop!
Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.

Umm, yeah, it sounds like it all "worked out" for Schultz monetarily, but who knows about his mental state. Many people who are bullied also seem "fine" on the outside but have massive psychological issues.
Anyways, thanks for your input.

I'll venture a thought that I doubt there has ever been a person born on this planet that
has not experienced bullying of one form or another.
