I recall it was originally named The Fountainhead before becoming Ernie's.
Weird.....that’s a piece of trivia that I honestly didn’t know. Are you sure?
Not saying you are wrong but it is truly something I have any memory of.

It must have been Fountainhead back in the '70's.

Le Triskell Creperie shows up on Google at 467 Bernard Avenue but couldn't find a year.

Re: the Fountainhead pub by the Creperie where there is a car wash now: Yes, it was the late 1970's, I believe. Presumably named for the little fountain inside the pub. Was owned by a partnership of three or four men. I heard they weren't getting along with each other, and so the Fountainhead only stayed in business for not much more than a year, maybe two years max. Was closed down for awhile and then bought out and became Ernie's.

Le Triskele was indeed on the south side of Bernard Avenue. Closed down several years ago. Nice little place, but I'm not surprised they didn't last.
Carmele's Creperie (sp?) was in behind where Skogie's is now. A friend of mine cooked there for many years.
