Another IHA CEO resigns.
https://www.castanet.net/news/BC/219131 ... esignation
Causes me to wonder if there will be a package. He's only been there for a couple of years.

Re: Another IHA CEO resigns.
Well the first line in the article says he is retiring, so he was not forced to resign.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

From the link above:
In January an internal memo from Mazurkewich to IH staff was leaked. In the memo, Mazurkewich called into question his own leadership and the culture inside IH.
The memo was in response to an internal survey of almost 600 IH leaders, which indicated a negative view of leadership.
"Your comments were most appreciated and you have collectively spoken very decisively," wrote Mazurkewich. "558 leaders have clearly spoken, with the top 20 ranked comments containing zero positive comments."

One would think that review would perhaps indicate to an individual that moving on would be a good idea.

Maybe not 'forced' but Im sure he was 'encouraged' to resign given his recent very poor performance review.

Re: Another IHA CEO resigns.
I met the man once. He stopped and introduced himself to me , and we had a quick conversation. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy , and quite down to earth. The 4 IHA suits that were with him barely acknowledged my existence. I'm wondering if he just didn't fit in. I would be interested in seeing the negative comments made by 598 "leaders" , and would bet that many of them were complaining of lack of funding for their particular projects or departments.

Chris Mazurkewich was appointed as President and CEO of Interior Health (IH) in October 2015.

Uh, ya, No.
Horgan is not responsible for the healthcare crisis enveloping us.
How is he responsible for aging demographics, the drug/od crisis, and the wave of cancers hitting younger people, you know, out age?
All these things are pressing up against everyone in the healthcare system.

Did you even consider that maybe this guy was just wanting to retire?

No Bsuds, it's HORGANS fault, at all times, every time and never is there a stop to blaming HORGAN! That guy wanted to work forever if it werent' for HORGAN. Nevermind that he's the type who was working some how since he was probably 8 years old delivering newspapers til now, he never had a thought in his head about enjoying life without having to go to work everyday until HORGAN arrived.
