That whole story just made me want to wretch. Glad to see the Liberal MP got roasted on Twitter, and rightly so. This kind of bigotry and hatred she expressed is not welcome in this country.

Interesting to note the end of the article, something I've raised as an issue here before in some thread I started somewhere:

“I thought the ultimate goal of fighting discrimination was to create a colour-blind society where everyone is treated the same,” wrote Bernier. “Not to set some Canadians as being ‘racialized.’ What’s the purpose of this awful jargon? To create more division for the Liberals to exploit?”


Oddly enough, I am wondering what the heck and why have I ignored the budget threads for so long.

There was a time when we fought against that nonsense and pushed for equality.

But today, the primary objective is to qualify as a victim. So we can't have genuine equality getting in the way of that, can we?

You can't blame the Liberals when you examine the history of the party founder, steve harper, his nefarious past and the legacy he left for Canadians.

Most people don't know about the nefarious past of your founding member steve harper. Steve harper has links to a Neo-Nazi, skin-head group the Heritage Front and was the founding, card-carrying MEMBER of the anti-Black, pro-apartheid, KKK-styled organization, The Northern Foundation. Steve used his Northern Foundation to undermine the efforts of The Rt. Honourable Brian Mulroney to secure the freedom of the late great Nelson Mandela from his South African prison.

As the political leader of the Reform Party, steve lead the small Contingent of Canadians to try prevent our Sikh RCMP officers from wearing turbans while in uniform.

While the leader of his CPC and Prime Minister he used this power to squash the first Nations Kelowna Accords, Subjected Omar Khdar to more abuse and ignored court recommendations to bring him home. Without the star influence of George and Amal Clooney and Kelowna's own local MP Stephen Fuhr putting pressure on steve to bring Mohamad Fahmey home, steve would have let him die in an Egyptian prison. Yet, Harper bounced to the rescue of Brenda Martin, white Christian locked up in Mexico.

Harper's legacy (not mentioning his dismal economic record) has been, personal attacks on Muslim women and murderous terrorist attacks on Muslim temples.He has given a voice to the hateful right who now is the biggest threat to North American security noth and south of the border.

Now we understand the foundation of the CPC you can understand decisions of the future. Take the election of 2019 for example; After promising Canadians, especially our minority Canadians not to engage the racist pundit media internet site, The Rebel, Andrew Scheer immediately breaks his promise and hires their staff to run his 2019 election campaign. So, no matter what excellent policies get stack upon that foundation, eventually the sun is going to shine, melting the frozen foundation of *bleep*, toppling everything else to the ground.

Getting to the point where job postings will say "white, hetero males need not apply" and everyone will be okay with that.

They already are. This isn't something "new" either. 25 years ago one of my best buddies wanted to follow his dream and be an RCMP. He was told to pound sand because he was the lowest applicant on their acceptable hiring list, a white male. So he waited until the social engineering boobs ran out of candidates that could meet even the basic minimum level requirements (even after bending them all they could) before 15 years later, applying again and being accepted, because well, they had to. And they are still in crisis mode, all because of stupid decisions made 25 year ago.

Now these nuts are going through the same cycle again. They just don't get it. Hire the best people who can do the job. That's it. There shouldn't be any other option.
