Are you looking for real Chinese food or North American?

To CapitalB:
Thanks for the recommendation of Yumi's Bistro. Went for lunch today. Odd little quirky old place. Almost to the point of uncomfortable for me. Just kinda weird. Really dirty glass door upon entering which was a red flag for me. Tables with couches way too low for short people (me!) to sit at so moved to another table. They've been there apparently for 4 years so I'm surprised it's not a nicer looking place. I think it would attract more customers.
So let's put it this way - décor is nada. Horrible actually. Pretty grubby. But the food was great! But my god - the portion sizes! That is crazy! Maybe a 6'10" linebacker could eat that lunch we had! I noticed other patrons were given different menus than the paper ones we were offered. Perhaps more traditional Chinese since those were the patrons that got those?
All in all - interesting place for sure. Would love to see what those other menus had to offer though.
