King Solomon in ancient Afghanistan

Post by averagejoe »

Interesting find. King Solomon of ancient Israel visited the area around Afghanistan 3,000 years ago. Lots of Hebrew named locations found in that area....

Image

To start Afghanistan is named after Afghani who was the Grandson of Israel's first King Saul. Afghani was adopted by King David after the death of King Saul and brought up in King David's household. Later Under King Solomon, Afghani became the Chief Commander of the Israelite Army and was incharge of the building of Solomon's Temple. Apparently both Afghani and King Solomon traveled to the Himalayan Mountains. Traveling from Northern Pakistan to Afghanistan.

From the Hindu Times:

The Origin Of The Name Afghan

Makhzan-e Afghan" by Nematullah, written in 1612 CE at the Mughal court in India, traces the Afghan or Pakhtun origin from Abraham down to one named King Talut or Saul. It states that Saul had a son Irmia (Jeremia), who had a son called Afghana. Upon the death of King Saul, Afghana was raised by David, and was later promoted to the chief command of the army during the reign of King Solomon. The progeny of this Afghana multiplied numerously, and came to be called Bani-Israel. In the sixth century BCE, Bakhtunnasar, or Nebuchadnezzar king of Babil, attacked Judah and exiled the progeny of Afghana to Ghor located in the center of what is now Afghanistan. In course of time, the exiled community came to be addressed as Afghan after the name of their ancestor, and the country got its name as Afghanistan.

Such interesting facts.

Another ancient Israelite name for Afghanistan is Zabulistan

Image

Named after the son of Jacob/Israel Zebulon.

Image
Zebulon was the 10th son of Jacob.

Zebulun was, according to the Books of Genesis and Numbers, the sixth and last son of Jacob and Leah, and the founder of the Israelite Tribe of Zebulun.

Ancient Bactria was named after Ephraim’s (One of Joseph's sons) son!

The original population of Bactria were Scythian (Saka or Israelites) according to the Iranian Chamber of Commerce.

Image

The tribe of Ephraim was subdivided into four clans, three of which were named the Bachrites, the Eranites and the Tahanites.

Bactria was derived from the Ephraimite clan name of the “Bachrites.”

In later centuries, three powerful tribes of the Scythian-Parthian alliance were the Bactrians, the Eranians and the Dahanites.

These tribes were all clans of the same Israelite tribe of Ephraim grown into exceedingly great numbers.

The term “Eran” is an archaic one from which is derived the name of the modern nation of “Iran or Aryan”

Interestingly, the nation of Iran (although it is now Persian, not Israelite) is still known by the name of a clan of the Israelite tribe of Ephraim which used to live in that region. “D” and “T” are related (and often interchangeable) consonants even as “P” and “B” were often interchangeable consonants in the ancient world, making the Dahanites and the Tahanites the same Ephraimite clan.

I doubt you will ever see the Israelite origin of all these names in any history book.

Bactria, by some writers, was called
“The pride of Ariana“!

The ancient local citizen called it "Bactria the beautiful".

Saul, a pleasant village on a mountain.

The village of Saul was located near Gardez in Afghanistan.

Osh, Kyrgyzstan in the Fergana Valley claims to be founded by King Solomon 3,000 years ago!

King Solomon had a temple built in Paqman 17 km west of Kabul

We can see King Solomon visited the area 3,000 years ago.

We can also see the different Israelite Tribes represented in the area such as Judah (King Solomon bloodline), Benjamin, Ephriam and Zebulon.

Khoransan Empire was at the same time as the start of Afghanistan...

Image

Khoransan was once called
“The Kingdom of Solomon”!

Khorasan means Land of the rising sun

From an Ancient Poem…
How was Khorasan, once the Dominion of Solomon
Now become a Kingdom of devils accursed?
