Posting YouTube videos

Can you embed Youtube video's in posts ? I'm used to [youtube] XcoolvideohereX[/youtube] but that doesn't work .

There is an embedded one in the cloud seeding post so I must be missing something here ?

Yes, you can embed YouTube videos on here just like that, with the XcoolvideohereX part being the link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Xytn7M_F78

Which would look like [ youtube ] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Xytn7M_F78 [ /youtube ] -- without the spaces, of course.

Ok , I was using the darn embedding code they have . I guess that is for webpages .

Any chance of ever adjusting options and setting it so that links posted within posts will automatically open in a new window ( if clicked ) ? Would be nice :D

The second link has a period in the URL (and works) that the first one doesn't, hence doesn't work ;;;; "youtu.be" versus "youtube"

Thanks Nab, there are two different links on this youtube vid. The one with youtu.be is in the "link to this video" window below the clip, which is obviously incorrect (http://youtu.be/jSFLZ-MzIhM).
