Twenty points for me.
And I still write cheques.

I also give thanks for this ethos richness bestowed on us via British Colonialism.

It's a point for things you've NEVER done.

How about party line?
Sending a telegram?
Using a crank telephone?
Listening to 78 LP's?
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?
Fancy this, Fancy that and by the way, T*t for Tat

I was tallying up points too until I finally realized the question - think it should be reworded.

I continually ran for the phone even though I was getting yelled at it wasn't our ring.

How about just writing. Anything. When I do I end up looking like a 4 year old with crayons after all the typing I do.

We had party line until around 2000.

I had one of those. 3 speed stick shifter mounted on the top crossbar between your legs and a good old Sturmey-archer 3 speed hub on the rear wheel (no derailleur).

At 16 years old I rode it on a 160 Km trip out of Toronto to cottage country (near Peterborough). On the way back to Toronto, people told me I was nuts to even try this on a bike like that, but I had already made it out of Toronto and was now simply coming back home, so I already knew what I was doing. Of course, I made it home in 2.5 days. I took less travelled highways to avoid traffic, making the trip a bit longer and more scenic.

Fond memories!

As I get older my grumpy personality seems to grow.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.
