You won't need a lift to the couch, or up the stairs anymore.
Goofy cat.
Shedding a few tears today.
There is a spot cleared on the lowest shelf picked just for you.
It's your home.

I would like to pass on my condolences that lost their fur babies. It's a loss that's never forgotten and I can still hear the click click of past pup's toenails on the floors every once in a while. Sorry dirtybiker and Queen K on the loss of your beloved cats.

Re: The Rainbow Bridge
I just saw this thread for the first time and it was as hard to read as I would have thought it would be given my love for my own past friends.
I have said to others that adopting a pet is a recipe for future gut wrenching pain and while that may be so, the journey with them is so worth it.
I am tearing up as i write this because the memories are working their way back to the surface. I miss every one of my special friends and I wouldn't trade a moment of my life with any of them for anything.
As I tap this out, my little girl Maggie is trying to jam her pudgy little body as close as she can to where my feet are. She makes me smile.

There isn't. What is nice to have though are the videos of past fur babies and with the advancement of technology I can sit and watch them and cry all I want. Then I take the current one for a walk.Lady tehMa wrote: ↑Dec 2nd, 2021, 2:13 pm I still mourn one of my pets . . .

OMG, that is terrible. So sad for you and poor cat.oldtrucker wrote: ↑Jun 12th, 2022, 10:16 am Had to put down my cat this morning. She was intentionally poisoned by industrial grade rat poison.
Yes... I know who did it.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.
