Dog on Chairlift

How does one take a dog on a chairlift safely. Big White says they are allowed on the lifts this weekend and we have my moms 20 lb rat with us.....anyone do it safely? I'd love to bring her since we are going for the day....

I would think you would need a good harness and a strong leash.
Apparently engaging in Sex on a regular basis is beneficial to having a good memory.

I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year for 2014.

Not sure but that sounds like a dog death waiting to happen. Maybe a harness like they use to strap them in a car with a seatbelt.

Used to take my Golden on the chairlift all the time in the 80's. She was big enough I could put my arm around her and she was fine with that. Pretty calm as she knew a back country ski was coming up. Had her leash on and that held snug in my other hand of course.
Smaller "rat" dog ? snug body harness and leashed with their head tucked inside your jacket?

Thanks seewood. We ended up doing it the hard way and hiking up without the lift so it was all good! I will say both Silver Star and BW are gorgeous in the summer - but that is a topic for a different forum :130:
