3 G's adopted

Three Saint Bernards who have been inseparable since birth have finally been adopted!

The five-year-old litter mates — named Gasket, Goliath and Gunther — have been living at the Edmonton Humane Society in Alberta, Canada, since they arrived in late September from a different animal welfare agency. They are bonded, which means they struggle with being apart from each other.

The Edmonton Humane Society says these dogs are approximately two years old and were on the thin side when they got them. Makes one wonder where they originated from. Would love to see a followup down the road at their new forever home.

October 10th media release from Edmonton Humane Society ...

Thanks to the power of social media, we have also had a few people come forward who knew these three pups when they were younger and have been able to share some more details on them. They have confirmed the three dogs are littermates and have been together since birth. They are just over five years old, which came as surprise to us, as their teeth are in incredible condition for a giant breed dog. They also shared that these dogs do everything together, including eating out of the same bowl, which is something we have noticed during their stay in our shelter too.

Thanks - I hope they stay together with the family that adopted them. They look like wonderful dogs.

Imagine the muddy paw prints come spring ... lol

Nevermind the muddy prints, better stock up on cleaning supplies for the buckets of drool.

Lots of towels - one towel per dog per drool. Paper towels will put them into bankruptcy.
