To: the poor woman in Vernon Walmart today.

Today, I stopped in to grab a few things for the Grand-baby, and while in the checkout, there was a man, woman and elderly woman in the next checkout.
As I stood in line, happily playing candy crush to kill time, I couldnt help but notice a harsh tone in the other checkout.
I ignored it as people have bad days, have bad clerks, have different tones. Who cares, I was one Jelly away from victory!
But this "man", his tone was quietly abusive, to the point that I kept looking up to make sure everyone was ok.
I see a mid to late 50`s man, middle income indicating attire, he looks like a guy you sit next to in church, work with at the insurance agency.
His tone was such that I was sorry for his wife? Sister? And the elderly woman, Mother? didnt seem to notice, and the middle aged woman had the look of someone used to this. Disconnected, but very kind to the elderly woman, and placating to the man.
I felt sorry for you. And I felt angry for you. I felt angry AT you.
In the end, its none of my business.
But holy crap, that would be the day I was spoken to like that in private let alone in a public place.
I hope you were just stuck getting things for mom with your jerk of a brother and went home and told your family that you are thankful you dont have to live with him.
