Seriously, I was just trolling. But even Elections Canada, and I assume Elections BC, allows poll workers as young as 16. Let 'em vote. Yeah, I understand types of gubment and economies. *removed*Andrewski wrote: ↑Oct 4th, 2021, 6:20 pmIf you think anyone anywhere in Canada is a socialist because they have left wing views than the value of your opinion and insight is zero, because you cleary don't understand fundamental types of government and economy. And you're allowed to vote? I know a17 year old with a better understanding but you gracefully proved my point that anyone's opinion could be worthless.bob vernon wrote: ↑Oct 4th, 2021, 5:47 pm We need to get this down to 16 as soon as we can. Before the next provincial and federal elections. Municipal too. And we need to have polling centres located in the high school gyms so that it will be easy for the 16 to 18 year olds to vote. They tend to be socialists or Green voters and we need more of them. Darn kids, anyhow!

*removed* So if you're just a troll, than your perspective is worth less than nothing, it should be adamantly ignored.bob vernon wrote: ↑Oct 9th, 2021, 11:19 amSeriously, I was just trolling. Whether they vote left or right isn't the issue. Getting them involved in democracy is. And they have at least as much, and maybe more, at stake and knowledge of, the world around them. At least as much knowledge, then/than, as some posters on here.

You're completely right about them having as much knowledge, and then as much at stake, and rather than discluding them from society we should embrace them, then maybe even let them vote. Instead of assuming they're socialists we should let them vote then see what happens.bob vernon wrote: ↑Nov 20th, 2021, 10:32 am We need to get this down to 16 as soon as we can.
