Get a copy of the police reports it should say what are good and the bad areas of Kelowna,, and Vernon,,, but make sure to go back some time to view... as they are sometime careless with the truth.. lol,, especially when needing a vote for the government golden jobs...!!!

I see everybody here are complaint boxes, instead of complaining get into community and try to make it safe. Volunteer for community police, volunteer for neighbourhood watch group if not having one take initiative to setup, if you see a homeless person spend some time with them to understand their problem and giving helping hand to integrate in community as all homeless are not bad people some have mental health problems and don't have health insurance like you. All these problems are created by Government or social groups giving free food and drugs and making them lazy. Question your representative about their policies. By complaining here or obtaining police reports nothing changes.

I actually know for a fact that the people that are staying up there at the beginning of Vernon by the overpass happened to be cleaning the area from what I totally Noticed I took time to actually go up and look and talk to you the residents on both sides totally figure out neither encampments where I can drug users they were legit homeless as in courtnt pay enuf while on assistance for a apartment apparently the one tents owners where from a recent building fire in downtown and haven't found cheap enuf to rent the other tent had a couple and her hubby works daily ...

Both sides of the hwy near the overpass is littered with garbage, the so-called residents don't clean it up, fact is nobody does. It has been cleaned at least once, the encampments moved out, only to return to the same mess it was before.
Evidently, the City doesn't care and seem content to let the embarrassing entrance at the north end continue, and until this festering drug problem isn't dealt with at its source, it will continue.

Which is a great idea. The NDP/liberal ideologies are 100% responsible for all this. Let the garbage and eyesore build up in front of their offices. Get on this bus. It goes down a very long road in the mountains to the best treatment ever offered. There you will get everything you require to get better. But no you will not receive treatment and housing in the exact same environment that caused your issue. And there will be no NDP or liberal idealogies where your treatment is.
