OLIVER – An increase in the aggressiveness of the Testalinden Creek wildfire near Oliver has resulted in evacuation orders being issued Friday afternoon.
Residents of 27 homes are being told to leave their properties.

The wind is the big factor here. Check out the wind forcast for osoyoos tomorrow, saying it'll be windy is an understatement.

"The northern flank of the Testalinden Creek wildfire has moved past Tinhorn Creek into the Reed Creek area, which is due west of downtown Oliver."
Does anyone know where Reed Creek is? I mean, specifically and not just due west of downtown Oliver? How far west?
