I don't know about Oliver & Osoyoos but in Keremeos you may as well report crimes by Canada Post.
It usually goes something like this;
Victim - I'd like to report someone damaging my property?
RCMP - Is it under $5000 damage? Because if it is we're too busy.
Victim - Oh.
In that case i'd like to report a murder.
Cops show up lights flashing, gun drawn
RCMP -
I thought you said there was a murder?
Victim - I thought you said you were too busy?
