Re: BC Election issues
there are 2 ways to vote on election day. You get to the polls and mark you X on the ballot or you stay home and not vote. However, the latter is still a vote. in fact a vote that counts for 2 for the incumbent party because they know the value of placing their X on the ballot and are OK with your choice to sit this one out.GordonH wrote:Finding a Party to vote for, so far none of the Leaders are really worth voting for. Issue finding Leadership worth voting for..... major lack in BC.

Re: BC Election issues
controversy swirls over potentially illegal political campaign donations, the BC Liberal Party’s campaign co-chair says any improperly made donations will be returned.
Last week, Elections BC turned an investigation into ‘indirect donations’ over to the RCMP; that matter involves reports that lobbyists were making donations to the party in their own names, then being reimbursed by corporations. That’s a contravention of B.C.’s Elections Act.
well well looks like an admission of guilt to me .

Re: BC Election issues
another issue is lack of explanation on clarks 5 demands before any pipelines or expansions . there has been zero put out to show exactly how them conditions were met . that alone should be reason enough for no votes

Here's the way I see it. If you want the continuing version of lies and deceit than vote liberal. If you want a whole new version of lies and deceit vote NDP. If you want complete lunacy in office vote Green. Wouldn't it be great to have choice.

This "letter" might as well a paid-advertisement by the BC Liberals.
I wonder how much Sam Singla donated to the BC Liberal Party?

The continued version of lies and deceit has kept BC doing quite well economically, something either of the other two options can't claim, so..............................mr.bandaid wrote:Here's the way I see it. The people who dislike Christy will certainly blame her, others know that the costs have to be paid when it comes to the ferry's. Gas goes up did you expect rates to drop?Mr_Mrs_Wolf wrote:If this is part of the Christy Clark BC Liberals election strategy for the Vancouver Island it is sure to help the NDP and Greens.

Re: BC Election issues
The liberal cheerleaders will only see what they want to. the fact that pretty much everything pertaining to our day to day living has gone up with this party in power and that the total debt has also increased is somehow lost in their pom poms. Oh well, lets vote them back in for four more years of same same.
