I asked you if you have any proof to back up your serious accusation so far and you've come up empty. If a media outlet were manipulating a poll I'd want to know about it so please provide the proof to back up your charge.

What else are you looking for from the media?

I think part of the problem here is the provincial advertising budget is far too big. This leads to, at very least, the perception that our local media is soft-balling. The other aspect is the editorial licence post media has granted themselves. To me, it seems arrogant and disingenuous to suggest that an organization can remain unbiased and yet contribute 5 figures to the party it's tooting.

Still, I take it for what it's worth, and I think this quote with regards to postmedia's stock performance says it all:

Postmedia Network Canada Corp has a net profit margin of -16.21%. Besides being negative, it is also below the industry average and implies that this company is not effective at turning revenues into bottom line profit.

There is no proof in the first post. None. Nada. Just telling me to look is a non-answer. You say the poll was manipulated but you have no proof. End of story unless you hear from a lawyer in the near future.

George: Wrong figures were published and then corrected. You call that a manipulated poll and you have no proof. The Mainstreet poll seems to be in line with the other polls but Mainstreet looked at the swing ridings and that's why they predicted a Liberal majority. Anyway, I would never ever accuse anyone of doing what you've accused Postmedia of doing unless I had proof. Shame on you.

Cmon, Urbane..the Liberals have less support than the
Last election.

So how could they predict they could win swing ridings.

That's not the issue. The polls might all be wrong and there might be an NDP victory tonight. The issue is you claiming that a poll was manipulated by Postmedia and yet you have no proof to back up that claim. That is truly disgraceful.

So how could they predict who would win the swing ridings?

They intentionally changed the poll to support their misguided
Support of the Liberals.

Or that's what the people being polled told them. There is that potential possibility too. Sure beats making libelous unproven accusations anyway.

Point to where in the article it says that the poll was manipulated.

See where it says British Columbia. Undecided 18%. The Sun paper simply
changed that to 14% and added the 4% difference to the Liberals to make them look even with the NDP.

From the article...
"But the B.C. Poll numbers published by the Vancouver Sun don’t fit that narrative at all.

A few hours later, the paper replaced those numbers, dropping the “undecided” number to 14 and boosting the Liberals to 35 points."
