OMIGOD@!

Thanks for these, this is astounding. I feel so bad for those affected by water damage as I know exactly what it feels like.

This is absolutely terrifying as it is affecting entire apartment complexes.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Mill Creek was already high then yesterday's down pour just ballooned it.

Your welcome!
Ya I feel really bad for them as well, most of them are senior condo owners.
I can't imagine what they must be going through.

I know right, there is still lots of snow left in the mountains around here.
I hope the community is going to be better prepared and get more sand bags, etc.

Lake is actually pretty low right now, will be higher in the summer. Creeks just can't handle the runoff combined with the heavy rain.

We took a hike along Powers Creek yesterday in Glenrosa and it was a carving the banks away with large trees being undercut and falling into the torrent. The sound of boulders being swept along in the current was like thunder, incredible scene.

Agree. There wasn't much trail left and we didn't go far, cut off both to the north and south a few 100 meters from entry into the park. The A few young guys we met, each travelling alone, were on the way up to the dam, a risky trek to say the least.
Here's a few pics from our walk. Really need to see the videos to get better perspective but don't have Facebook or YouTube account so don't know how to post.

Probably should have posted on a Powers Creek thread but didn't feel needed another one on floods. These pics were taken at Glenn Canyon Park.
