Well, that is gratifying I took a correct guess.

Regardless of who "wins" an election, they always are up against a Silent Elite. Do you believe the extreme poor who voted for Trump ever thought their non-profit support would be slashed right out from under them?

How is temps in the 30°C range good news, or are you being facetious?
Good news would be lower temps, so that the upper level snow doesn't melt as quickly.

True that, but only if the four preceding days of 30°C haven't already melted the upper level snowpack.

Maybe not, but they sure seem to be concerned, about how much the flow of Mission Creek is going to increase.LTD wrote:not a chanceOld Techie wrote:True that, but only if the four preceding days of 30°C haven't already melted the upper level snowpack.

They're concerned because of just how much snow is still to come down - estimated still over approximately 90%. As just mentioned, it's going to take more than just a few days of 30C temps. An even bigger issue is if we have warm temps, and rain makes an appearance.Old Techie wrote:Maybe not, but they sure seem to be concerned, about how much the flow of Mission Creek is going to increase.

Even bigger issue would be a log jam backing up the creek only to let loose in a wallop

There is a large buildup of logs just above the bridge . If you go to creekside pub u can see the log jam from the back patio
Now they want to take our guns away . That would be just fine. Take em away from the criminals first . Ill gladly give u mine. "Charlie Daniels"

I've also been keeping an eye on that jam.Jflem1983 wrote:tsayta wrote:Even bigger issue would be a log jam backing up the creek only to let loose in a wallop

I'm actually wondering why it hasn't been dealt with.
My guess is there is money to be made by leaving it until it's "too late", or "just on time".

It's funny you mentioned that. If you look at the stream flow, it just started strangely dropping...

Most of the snow is melted by now. The only way to cause more flooding is with rain.tsayta wrote:It's funny you mentioned that. If you look at the stream flow, it just started strangely dropping...
