Well, that is gratifying I took a correct guess.

Spend some time and money on establishing an Estate plan, a Legal Will, your wishes and who is the Executor. Watch Grant of Probate videos. Understand the process to help yourself and loved ones.

How is temps in the 30°C range good news, or are you being facetious?
Good news would be lower temps, so that the upper level snow doesn't melt as quickly.

True that, but only if the four preceding days of 30°C haven't already melted the upper level snowpack.

Maybe not, but they sure seem to be concerned, about how much the flow of Mission Creek is going to increase.

They're concerned because of just how much snow is still to come down - estimated still over approximately 90%. As just mentioned, it's going to take more than just a few days of 30C temps. An even bigger issue is if we have warm temps, and rain makes an appearance.

Even bigger issue would be a log jam backing up the creek only to let loose in a wallop

There is a large buildup of logs just above the bridge . If you go to creekside pub u can see the log jam from the back patio

I've also been keeping an eye on that jam.
I'm actually wondering why it hasn't been dealt with.
My guess is there is money to be made by leaving it until it's "too late", or "just on time".

It's funny you mentioned that. If you look at the stream flow, it just started strangely dropping...

Most of the snow is melted by now. The only way to cause more flooding is with rain.
BTW: Okanagan Lake surpassed the 1948 record at 10:20 last night.
