Fire above Peachland?

I am in Lake View Heights.
Seeing a plume of something rising from the hills behind Peachland.
Anyone else?

Yes could see from Kelowna. Its died down now though

BC wildfire's interactive map shows one just north of Garnet lake so that's probably it. Sounds like it's very small

Tankers battling blaze
The blaze is currently 0.2 hectares in size, and is burning about three kilometres west of Highway 97.

Would the sand in the sandbags be of use to fire fighting? Just asking.
Spend some time and money on establishing an Estate plan, a Legal Will, your wishes and who is the Executor. Watch Grant of Probate videos. Understand the process to help yourself and loved ones.

Sand is helpful for dry mop, but we just scrape it up from our surroundings...might be good for remedial work after the fire though :smt045
