Air quality rating in kamloops is 24 right now. The chart only goes up to 10.

Kamloops is at 37 now. Central Okanagan is at 4, but as I type this, I can see the smoke haze between my front window and the house across the street, so I'm not sure how much stock to put into these readings.

If the scale is 1 to 10, and the rating is 49...i think something is wrong with the scale. Other wise the big earthquake that caused the tsunami destruction in Japan was a 52 on the richter scale of 1-10.

The smoke is so bad right now, it actually looks dark outside.

Dark.

And this usually happens at this time in late October. Looking out of my window, I can't even see the orange disk. :135:
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Couldn't even see the sun when we got up, felt like middle of winter cuz it was so dark, was kind of hoping it was cloud cover and a huge burst of rain was going to happen. Sounds like most of the province is smoke filled. Sure have to feel sorry for those with resspitory issues.
