The fire around Jack Seaton is the same fire, it started down at the lake, shot up the hill by NightHawk road, crossed Tyndal, and last i heard fireman said fire was crowning trees by hill at Jack Seaton.

Looks like 4 Convairs from Conair (numbers 55. 52, 47 and 49) and 2 Electras (numbers 490 and 482) from Air Spray refuelling and refilling with retardant here. Not sure what other aircraft may be involved but the 6 are for sure hitting it.
My buddy's place and a good spotting scope is where I'm seeing the fire base here at Penticton.

Sitting in Penticton right now. Feels like World War 2 here right now with all the Bombers flying over right now.

Add the Saskatchewan Convair ( number 473) back in the fight.

Crazy noisy here in OK Centre right now. Man those planes come in low !!!!! Rattle the windows! Eerily quiet here - no traffic - pretty sure the cops must be stopping people from coming in. I sure hope they can get a handle on this one before dark.
Anybody remember me saying a few days ago that we were sitting ducks out here? And I also questioned why subdivisions are allowed to be built with one road in/out (Nighthawk a perfect example).Hope whoever approved that subdivision can sleep well tonight because there's a lot of us that won't be.

Sounds the same being under it! So far most of the action seems to be around Chase - Long Road. Wind seems to be dropping right now but maybe this is the change in wind direction they said would happen this evening. 8 skimmers right now still flying over our house.

I live right near Jack Seaton park. Can confirm that a large part of the park has burnt. Seems they stopped it at the park/Camp road tho thankfully. Another few blocks and you could ad my home to the list. Can also confirm it's like a war zone here. Cop cars everywhere, lots of planes and heli's flying really low.
