Clearly, over a century of fire suppression operations, an unnatural fuel loading state developed, ripe and waiting to sustain a wildfire that simply couldn't be suppressed.

Madrone Estate Winery / Valley of the moon (there is like 5-6 brands but it's one company) is owned by the Stewarts (same as Quails Gate). So far so good but some scary pics from their facebook page with the hill in the back burning away.
