I imagine your sound effects were better too. :D

I just couldn't believe how the lightning was hammering the area. It was amazing.

Anyone & everyone who's home is in or near a forested area, should try to remove any & all fuel sources around that home. i.e pine needles, easily burnable plants & grass etc... etc

Wood roof is a huge no.. no especially cedar shake shingles. impo metal roof is the way to go, yes there is metal that looks exactly like cedar shake shingles.

Here's a perimeter map of the fires in the area. This was before the eneas and munro ones were merged yesterday but I think that's the only change.

The radar is picking up the smoke drift from one of the similkameen fires. Could get kinda smoky here if it keeps drifting northeast.

Hard to tell the difference between the smoke and thunderstorms right now.

its rumbling pretty hard on the westside. hard to see anything thru this smoke though

Non stop reporting of new fires from Helicopter pilots to Kamloops Fire Center.

The ones I heard were several around Sicamous area, Lumby, and several around Brenda Mines, Sunset Main.
