Re: Electric Vehicles
Soon if not already it will be in your sales contract from EV manufacturers that you can't sue them over anything you car does.
Self driving and hit something...too bad!
Causes a fire and burns your house down...too bad!
You back over someone in the driveway cause the sensors didn't work...too bad
I hope this goes to court and gm loses.

Someones nice electric Jag got a boo-boo. The owner thankfully noticed smoke and got it out of the garage in the nick of time.

GM loses more money in EVs as they pay $6000 to bolt owners, asking them not to sue. What a fiasco.

Re: Electric Vehicles
According to Elon. lol. That is hilarious. We will see how well it does if prices continue to increase, and raw material shortages continue. Of course, it is a drop in the bucket to the total number of vehicles sold.captkirkcanada wrote: ↑Aug 8th, 2022, 4:40 am Tesla expected to become worlds best seilling car

Re: Electric Vehicles
As EVs become more popular, the incidents of fires is also increasing, but not proportionately. The reports of a growing number of fires have caused sales to decline in China.
https://carnewschina.com/2022/04/18/chi ... e-on-fire/The Chinese media reported only 86 electric vehicle fire accidents in the past two years, averaging one accident per week. However, in the first quarter of this year [2022], 640 electric vehicles caught on fire, a year-on-year increase of 32%, which is equivalent to an average of 7 electric cars caught on fire per day, according to the latest data released by the Chinese Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management on April 3 this year.
