That's pretty interesting, I've never heard of this particular thing before. Hermaphrodites, sure, but not gynandromorphs. so they're like a super specific double-fertilization of an egg forming an actual half-and-half fetus. I'm curious how that impacts their mating habits but it seems to be so extraordinarily rare that such data isn't reliably available. Shame
Still really bizarre to see a naturally occurring 'Two Face' effect on a creature like that though, especially the crustacean example they showed. Perfectly formed right down the middle...
Imagine being born totally half-and-half like that. They didn't mention it being a thing with mammals, though.
