Google access problems
I've been having trouble with google products ever since Telus email switched over to gmail. I can't sign into my google account to leave reviews. I cannot access google maps. I'm also unable to sign into my youtube account, although I'm not sure if that is related. When trying to sign into google, I get the message that I do not have access and to contact my organization administrator.
I'm wondering if anyone can explain why this is happening before I go to the trouble of contacting Telus.

Your Telus e-mail sign in is probably different from your google sign in if you have a google account.
Try signing out of your Telus mail and see if that works. If you have a separate google account then sign in with that.
I have several different e-mail accounts and just have them all forward to outlook as my main one. I have no problems with Google.

Bsuds is right. Sign out of your telus account then you should able to sign into other Google sites.

Re: Google access problems
Thanks for the help. Somewhere along the way I think my google account got linked to my telus account and signing out of telus doesn't get me anywhere. But I finally was able to access google by creating a new google account with a non-telus email address and using Safari instead of Chrome. Obviously I'm not very computer literate. ![:haha: [icon_lol2.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_lol2.gif)

Just a shot in the dark here but Chrome does have a tendency to store site data and passwords. You might try going into Chrome then click on the three dots at top far right, go to Settings>Privacy & Security>Clear Browsing Data.SuperMom wrote: ↑Apr 9th, 2023, 4:24 pm Thanks for the help. While you are in there look around some of the other headings and get rid of anything to do with Telus and Google that you might come across.
Restart your Chrome and see if you have better luck. I have a feeling that may fix it.
I go through my settings very carefully and am quite selective about what sites can keep cookies, plus I have it set so that every time I close Chrome it clears all the browsing data.
Sites I trust can be put into an allowed list so that that data doesn't get cleared when I close Chrome.
I'm fairly certain that by default the browser keeps cookies which might be the source of your problem.

Account Migration: During the transition from Telus email to Gmail, there might have been an issue with the migration of your account details or settings. This can sometimes cause login problems and difficulties accessing Google products.SuperMom wrote: ↑Apr 8th, 2023, 2:26 pm I've been having trouble with google products ever since Telus email switched over to gmail. Incorrect Credentials: It's possible that you might be using incorrect login credentials, such as an incorrect email address or password. Double-check that you are entering the correct information when trying to sign in.
Account Configuration: There could be a configuration issue with your Google account, especially if it was set up as an organizational or business account. This might require contacting your organization's administrator or the support team to resolve the access problem.
Account Linking: If your Telus email was previously linked or associated with your Google account, the switch to Gmail might have caused a temporary disruption in the connection. In such cases, it's best to reach out to Telus support or Google support to address the issue.

I am with Telus as well. If I try and access Google Maps with Edge it wont let me sign in unless I'm signed in with my google credentials. Then I have no problem. Also if I switch to Chrome I can sign in no problem with that browser.
I have both on my computer so not a big deal to start Chrome at the same time as Edge.

Never fully trust a GPS either. It pays to double check the route before you go.GordonH wrote: ↑May 25th, 2023, 8:49 pm Bumped up
