Black Screen when play video
I have Windows 10 on my laptop, and used to be able to watch You tube videos. However, nowadays i can only get sound and a black screen when I try to watch a You tube video. The weird part is that I can watch Rumble videos just fine.
My Windows 10 is up to date, as is my Intel Video driver, and my Firefox browser. So, at this point, I'm not sure what to try to fix the problem.
Any ideas?

look a these links about black screen while watching youtube video. I suspect it might be a extension conflict. Turn all extensions off and then view the video. If it is still black, try one of the other suggestions in the link above.

If you are using a dark mode extension, it can cause the video to be turned black due to a misrepresentation in the extension.Merry wrote: ↑Jun 29th, 2023, 2:19 pm I have Windows 10 on my laptop, and used to be able to watch You tube videos. Thanks. I do have the thing turned on that dims the screen at night, so I’ll turn it off and see if that helps.countmeout wrote: ↑Jun 29th, 2023, 2:46 pmIf you are using a dark mode extension, it can cause the video to be turned black due to a misrepresentation in the extension.Merry wrote: ↑Jun 29th, 2023, 2:19 pm I have Windows 10 on my laptop, and used to be able to watch You tube videos. I experienced this a few years ago. If I recall, I had to reset all browser settings back to default and delete all history/cache.
1st step - confirm it's a browser issue by trying youtube with a different browser.
