Just think, another good hot spell will remind you of your
younger days, and a likely glimpse to the future.

I was up Bulman road near shadow ridge golf course Saturday.

Residents are definitely keeping a close eye. I saw more than a couple pieces of heavy equipment working on drainage and building berms. Couple I talked to said it had come up quickly after the rain. I saw 2 or 3 culverts that only had about 6" of room left before the creek would overflow them.

It's holding about 6 inches higher than a few days ago. Not coming up anymore. I went for a spin up Postil lk rd and most of the snow is gone... a few places in the bush still have over a foot, but for the most part it's gone.
As long as it doesn't rain....all will be good.

'All will be good' kinda went south real fast last night.
Bulman Rd. is now closed. Water running over it a few inches deep just south of Shadow Ridge golf course.
So....here it comes- heads up down stream kids.

Heads up anyone on Mill Creek...Guess whats coming your way... welcome to the party. It's come up over a foot in the last few hours and another 4 inches in the last 15 min.
Last night's rain in the hills has made its way to town. Water is running over the road in front of the golf course and getting deeper by the minute. Cobble rolling down the road from the force of the water. Properties on Bulman south of the s curve bridge starting to flood.

I don't think it's as high as that year. Another person I was speaking with said it was still 6 ft in the bush up past Postil (12 mile wherever that is). I might take a spin up there today to get a look.

Been watching snowpack levels and water flow rate past couple of weeks.. has there been much sandbag preparation for residents along all creeks this season?

Is there currently a need for help deploying sandbags?
