NDP star candidate mocks Indigenous man

Post by Gone_Fishin »

The woke left's extreme racism rears its ugly head once again. What's the matter with these leftists? Why must they be so racist?

HOT MIC: BC NDP star candidate caught mocking Indigenous candidate's name

BC NDP candidate Nathan Cullen has come under fire after a hot mic caught him mocking an Indigenous candidate. The Stikine candidate was caught making this comment during an all-candidates debate over Zoom.

“The guy’s gonna get bedrock 20 percent … his name is ‘Kinkles,'” Cullen said while snickering. “He is not well-liked, in his – he’s Haida – in his own community.”

Cullen was mocking BC Liberal candidate Roy Jones Jr., whose indigenous name is Cheexial.

Ellis Ross, the B.C. Liberal candidate for Skeena, tells NEWS 1130 Cullen’s comments are “absolutely disgusting," particularly as this entire BC Provincial Campaign has been embroiled in a social justice narrative by the BC NDP.

“I mean we’re trying to get more first nations involved in the political system of B.C. in Canada, and we have another politician, trying to keep us out. That is disgusting behaviour," Ross concludes.

I'm sorry to see that Nathen Cullen's comments have you so worked up. Perhaps you're too sensitive for political discourse? There's really nothing racist, or even disparaging about it. Mr. Cullen voiced an opinion on another candidates chances. Big deal.

"Nathan Cullen has worked hard over the years to represent all of the people of the North Coast with respect. Mr Cullen has established a good relationship with the Haida Nation and his recent comments do not warrant his resignation or an apology to the Haida Nation." -- Gaagwiis

Exactly. So now it's a non-issue to everyone but political opportunists.
Never miss a good chance to shut up.
