The 3 tankers based here are hitting it.
And the skimmers are coming as well!

AT8T's just went by the Penticton enroute OK Falls.

The AT8T's are being refueled at CYYF. At least 6 of them with their bird dog.
Maybe getting ready to battle for a long haul?

Now an RJ85 has joined in.
As for location it's farther south. Where as Christie Mountain was closer to Penticton, this one seems due east of OK Falls.

Could be. Their Bird Dog is up and the 6 are looking almost fueled up.
2 RJ85's and 3 Convairs working it so far.
As well as helicopters.

UPDATE: 3:50 p.m.

BC Wildfire Service reports that the fire near Okanagan Falls, now officially called the "Thomas Creek wildfire," is at 20 hectares in size and listed as out of control.

All tankers are heading back to base or are already done for the day.
May be heli's still working but they won't much longer.
How big will it grow? Who started it? And will they ever be held responsible?
