Unfortunately hazard of living in the hottest place in BC, more often then not.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

In downtown Vernon I can distinctly smell forest fire smoke.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Re: Lytton (again)
Tankers here are sitting at their base. Last night one went out and looks like it didn't drop anything at the fire. The drop zone, if they do not expel the retardant, is up Greyback way.
Flightaware shows them going right there!
https://flightaware.com/live/flight/FGD ... /CYYF/CYYF I really hope they didn't just go and not drop. They did it many times last year, even the day before all the houses were lost in the White Rock Lake fire!

Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.
