If Sarai was worried about RHJ’s mood, reaction or whatever, he should have taken another person with him as a witness when he spoke to RHJ rather than secretly recording the conversation. The fact Sarai admitted to lying about the incident is of great concern. This entire situation stinks right down to what appears to be Sarai gaslighting RHJ into thinking his office might be bugged. Is Sarai the type of person we really want on our city council? Can he be trusted ever again?

What has Reid accomplished that is worthy of praise? What changes, or improvements, can you cite that demonstrate he's made any positive impact?

How the hell is he supposed to accomplish anything when he is constantly being barraged with criticism and lies from the crazy 8...Sarai has proven by this that him and other councillors will lie and do whatever they can to get what they want...Most of these crazy 8 have been on council way too long...Sarai, Kate and several others are known to start trouble and conflict...Which brings on lawsuits...I'm sure Sarai will be held accountable as well...Sarai should be gone in my opinion...

I dont see why people are getting uppity over the fact he recorded it all that matters is that he lied and was just as bad in that exchange if not worse than Reid. In Canada as long as one party in the recording consents its legal. Nobody complains when its CBC or CTV or what ever going in undercover and secretly recording people.
