covid vaccines didnt work in 1965 when covid hit,,,yet fauci said covid was a new virus we know nothing about, covid vacine didnt work in 2008 when sars, a covid2 strain but at least they tested it on animals then. the results were those animals that were vacinated, waited 2 weeks, then infected them with the sars(covid) virus and 100% died,,,because the vaccine killed their immune system. Chem trails have been proven true with bill Gates admititng to them , on public annoucement a few years back, where he and Black rock are funding them. For the purpose of blocking out the sun rays to try to cool off hte planet, but disregarding what effects those chemicals might be doing to our water, soil, vegitation ect. And the sooner the people accept the scary facts, the sooner we might be able to stop the insanity that is hurting us. Let's just say this long ramble is all true. What is Loewen, a realtor, going to do about it at a provincial level? Is she going to stop Bill Gates and big Pharma?

Versus an intelligent doctor who can focus on healthcare which we do have control of in the province?

Absolutely ridiculous that the con candidate is still hiding. Even more absurd that so many on this crazy forum have no idea that this is not your standard conservative party. No, the NDP have not been perfect, but burning the province to the ground by giving this extremist party a chance is not the solution.

I don't really know any of the candidates on a deep level, and neither do the vast majority of voters. So, I think it comes down to the party platform and what their party messaging is. Can any of us identify the major accomplishments of Renee Merrifield during her time representing us? Maybe some can, but most certainly cannot.

BC Liberals lost the faith of the center-right voters and didn't put in the work to listen to their concerns. They continued on the same path they had always been, tacking ever leftward to try and win over more left votes. All that did was alienate the right in this province. BC Conservatives finally started saying the things that so many people on the right have been desperate to hear their politicians say, it has been validating after years of being completely ignored.

In a desperate attempt to win back the disaffected right-wing voters, BC Liberals underwent a rebranding and name change, but it was just a new paint job on a rusty old car. The momentum shifted to BC Conservatives for good reason, not because of what so many cynical people wish to paint as "conspiracy theories and tinfoil hats".

Dr. Humer may be the most intelligent, experienced, and capable candidate to represent Kelowna Center, but voting for an independent is essentially a vote for the NDP at this point because there are no candidates pulling votes away from the left right now, only the right. The GDP per capita of this province under the NDP has fallen dramatically, we are $9b in debt when we should be the richest province in the country and one of the richest jurisdictions in North America thanks to our abundant resources. It is the complete mismanagement of our province by the NDP that has led us to this point, so whether the Conservative candidate shows up for a debate or not, I don't really care. The local candidate will fall in line with the party platform, the same as every other party. You're voting for the party, not the candidate.

I don't find it disingenuous at all. I'm planning to vote for the best local candidate which I believe to be an independent in my riding (based on their experience). I'll admit that I disagree with comments I've seen CON candidates make that I associate with the far (or alt) right. Some reassurance that they are intelligent people capable of running the government would go a long way towards swaying voters such as myself.

Lastly it doesn't sit well with me if you aren't willing to show up for a job interview why would I want you to get the job? If you're not willing to fight for the job you've shown me you aren't willing to fight to represent your community.
