TRU's decision to implement a high cost, negative return carbon project will eat their lunches. And it will still be someone else's fault when their budget is upside down.

Looking forward to the day when pragmatism returns to the forefront of decision making, instead of virtue-signaling.

All those that howl about foreign students taking up good Canadian kids classroom space -- where are you? This is on you!

Thank goodness. TRU has been turning into a degree mill in recent years. And the price of housing and rents have become very high in Kamloops, which places a strain on residents, especially low income residents.
Just a few years ago TRU survived very well without such a high number of foreign students.

Very enjoyable hearing TRU is struggling after years of exploiting international students.

How about that $10 MILLION pedestrian overpass that was to be funded 50% by Kamloops taxpayers?

Drop that project and there's 5 million you don't have to spend and 5 million not being sucked out of Kamloops taxpayers.

Canadian students won't mind walking a couple of hundred additional metres.
