The decision to not allow employees their "right" to EI benefits because they wouldn't take the vaccine was the proverbial "straw" that broke the belief my government would do the right thing for me.
I've been paying into EI for 40 years, never utilized it, yet, for them to say i was ineligable to receive those benefits because i didn't want the jab to keep my job was preposterous.

When do judges start taking accountability for their poor decisions not based on facts but by their personal feelings.

A lot more of those interior health bureaucrats need to be fired for their complete failure of our health care system.

Looking back at these vaccine passports and they seem so Orwellian.
That said, as a "deeply religious" person who has a conflict with getting a vaccine maybe you should avoid healthcare as a career choice, or any other science/fact based line of work.

The is a diametric conflict between medical science and belief in deities. Someone that believes in virgin births, taking snakes and rib women has no business overseeing any health operations or policies. In any other context but “religion” they would be institutionalized for such ideation.

Good to read! As one who worked for IH during the pandemic (and was fully vaccinated), I saw first hand the result of people refusing to get vaccinated--gasping for breath in the ICU before they finally passed away. Sadly, there is no cure for human stupidity!!

I agree, Yet albeit, a tax payer of many many years of paying or (investing lets call it), should never be denied EI.obtunded wrote: ↑Nov 26th, 2024, 2:33 pm The is a diametric conflict between medical science and belief in deities. If a person has paid 10 yrs + consecutive into that service ,then they shall be entitled to collect the amount of weeks that are covered, (I'm not sure what it is,22-40 ??), regardless of the "definition " of ending that employment contract per se

I have no idea why he would pursue a lawsuit. Does God not provide?

At no point in history have the people forcing others into compliance been the good guys.

Two weeks to flatten the curve, we're all in this together. Do it for grandma.
