A waste of taxpayers money? Really? What a near sited comment. This event will bring hundreds of thousands of dollars to the community. Small businesses, restaurants, hotels and yes even the tax payers will benefit from this event. Way to go Kelowna!

Kamloops hosted the Memorial Cup three years ago and it's estimated to have put up to $15 MILLION into the local businesses.
