Thanks Summerland. Maybe next time look at using drones rather than fireworks. All the wildlife and domestic pets ( and their owners) would appreciate it.

Yes, it's time to end fireworks. Vernon will be using drones for future events. Much kinder for all creatures, both wild and domestic. And yes thunder is also tough for pets, but that's out of our control. We can take control of fireworks....

I watch a drones show this past summer, it was pretty lame.
Best fireworks show I’ve ever seen was definitely at Walt Disney world Florida.

Kamloops put on a drone light show last July 1st rather then fireworks and the overall consensus was, "we want fireworks back". The drone show wasn't quite a flop but it was unimpressive.
