What a joke. Gonna deliver mail to an imaginary character yet won’t deliver the mail that matters. I hope you all loose your jobs. AI and robotics will make mail men and women useless in the near future anyways, we don’t Canada post anymore.

Some families only means to communicate with their children is by postage mail, and NOT cell phones.my daughter’s only communication with her child is by letter mail once a week and these postal workers and union are allowing letters to santa and not allowing mail that many rely on for hope and connection. It is so heartbreaking that they are doing this to many who rely on postage mail

55,000 Canada Posties hold 40,000,000 Canadians hostage.
Average Canada Post Mail Carrier hourly pay in British Columbia is approximately $23.33, which is 6% above the national average.
Average Canada Post hourly pay ranges from approximately $17.70 per hour for Customer Service Representative to $47.38 per hour for Product Designer. The average Canada Post salary ranges from approximately $40,858 per year for Postal Clerk to $131,377 per year for Director.
Basic issue is wage. Union asking for 22% over next four hears.....Employer offers 11%. Inflation rate for 2024 approximately 2+%, Consumer price index approximately 2.5+%.
Reality versus Perception.....Overworked? Underpaid? Benefits? The Union is not doing their image and credibility any favors. Yes, 22% vs11% , big spread, it's all about negotiations. Looking at their wage structure as of today it's not all that bad when you take in benefits. From an outsider point of view looking at Inflation/CPI 13/15% seems fair. There again what is the Union going to do to make them more efficient?
Then there is being real.....just sayin'.
