Leave them locked out. Covid has taught us there is no need for Canada Post anymore. My mailbox gets nothing but junk flyers......the same flyers I can see on the Internet

Let’s hope they can find a compromise so rural communities can get their deliveries. Lord knows there’s very little for need for them otherwise.

Better yet….just privatize the whole thing. They lose almost a billion dollars a year. No other business would continueHella Krusty wrote: ↑Dec 1st, 2024, 5:23 pm Leave them locked out. Thousands of small Canadian towns rely on Canada Post because the private sector can't turn a profit delivering to them.

Do you want Intelcom / Dragonfly delivering your important mail - government mail, driver's license, credit card, BC Services Card, etc.? That's the danger of privatizing mail. Parcels are privatized, Canada Post has to compete, but mail should not ever be privatized. Canadian citizens have a right to open and unimpeded communication with their government thru the mail, from every part of Canada, even the most remote. Right now, postal workers are inferring with those rights. It's not just about xmas packages, it's also about our constitutional rights. Canada Post has to be made an essential service. USPS cannot strike, they are part of the government and an essential service to all Americans. We must impose the same law here. And the party that runs on that, will win the next federal election.vegas1500 wrote: ↑Dec 1st, 2024, 7:29 pmBetter yet….just privatize the whole thing. They lose almost a billion dollars a year.
