Steve Verheul has some serious experience and credentials
https://www.gtandcompany.ca/steve-verheul/
I'd say that's an expert in this matter. Who would you recommend comment on it?

Unfortunatly he no longer holds that position and instead,,,,Most recently he served as a special advisor on trade policy to Canada’s Deputy Minister of Finance. Our Deputy ministor of finance " Chris Forbes" is now deputy minister of envirement and climate change, and we all know how that is unfolding,,,lol,,,It seems your link is not updated...Tack wrote: ↑Dec 4th, 2024, 3:15 pmSteve Verheul has some serious experience and credentials

So tighten up the border, like every single Canadian wants. It really is a simple equation. Not sure why the media and "experts" can't figure it out.

Experts!? One word that is overly used for the sheep to get in line and believe what their pontificating on. Most of us go to school, or secondary degree and earn a trade in our respected fields.
Why not use the word professional? Think about it.

If they did I would vehemently ask not to be referred to as an Expert!

Steve Verheul
As Canada’s Chief Trade Negotiator from 2017 to 2021, Steve Verheul was responsible for negotiating Canada’s most important trade deals including the new NAFTA (CUSMA/USMCA) and Canada-European Union trade agreement. Most recently he served as a special advisor on trade policy to Canada’s Deputy Minister of Finance.
Hailed by media and pundits as the “most important Canadian you’ve probably never heard of”, Mr. Verheul’s support for our clients is game-changing. His network, expertise and relationships in domestic and international markets is unparalleled.
During his 34 years in the federal public service, he was Assistant Deputy Minister of the Trade Policy and Negotiations Branch at Global Affairs Canada and appointed as Canada’s Chief Trade Negotiator for negotiations between Canada and the European Union in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade from 2009-2016, leading that negotiation from its beginning through to its successful conclusion.
He was previously Canada’s Chief Agriculture Negotiator from 2003 to 2009, responsible for leading Canada’s involvement in international trade negotiations on agriculture, including the WTO. During his tenure at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, he worked on the NAFTA negotiations, the Uruguay Round of Multilateral Trade Negotiations that led to the establishment of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and the Doha Round of WTO negotiations.
Mr. Verheul is known for his steady hand and sound advice in guiding companies and organizations through complex, time-sensitive and pressing international trade issues, explaining and anticipating government policies and decisions, and finding creative solutions to challenging problems and identifying emerging opportunities. He currently advises CEOs, boards of directors, and senior executives on the shifting international trade landscape in order to forecast and mitigate risks, and exploit opportunities in existing or changing government policies and directions.

Canadians will pay for the Big Mouthing Trudeau did about Trump when he lost in 2020.
Trudeau's baggage maybe worse than any of Trumps complaints, if information could be posted.
Trump is not going to screw us if we get rid of Trudeau.
I-5 through BC to Alaska, Fence east of Alberta.
Quebec gets Jagmeat Singh as President and Trudeau as his Bum Boy.

Lol, is that what he promised you? America First doesn't include "except when Trudeau is not in power". Trump will continue to do what he thinks is best for the USA regardless of whose the prime minister.
