like everything Justin Trudeau and his liberals do to make Canada a better and safer nation there will always be dissenters. BC Wildlife federation has no more right to seriously comment on the workings of the Federal Government than I have commenting on them, yet here I am and here they are. They are wrong. It is a good decision by the Feds and I hope more will come. This story as reported on Global clearly states that most illegal guns in Canada come from south of the line with little or no regulation by the RCMP nor Border Patrol. Justin Trudeau would do well to remind Trump that the flow of illegal items goes both ways across the 49th and that he 'Trump" is the man in charge of taking care of it before we tariff the backside off the US

Guns don't kill people do. Lock up the criminals who are doing the shootings. Go after the illegal guns. Get tougher on the criminals like what has been echoed for years.

Wait.. so we take firearms from legal owners, that aren't being used to kill people, and send them to another country to kill people???? How does this even make sense? How is this even close to humanitarian?
The lack of logic is mind-boggling. If decisions are made on looks alone, paint them pink!
Current government needs to go.

as if ukraine has any use for a random assortment of different calibers of semi auto rifles that have been pinned to 5 rounds. not even mentioning the gsg 16 is on the new list as well, a rimfire 22LR.

BCWF and the NFA are part of the problem. Cops do not slow or stop crime. Unfortunately Canadians aren't smart enough to see the solution. It could be ended by Monday PERMANENTLY

It's another example of where Trudeau's promise to make decisions based on science and facts is a complete sham. This is pure politics which will cost a fortune and do little to stop gun crime or keep women safe ( the latest tag line for the gun control proponents). Go after the gangs, go after importation, bring in appropriate penalties for using a firearm, get rid of the bleeding heart judges.

nothing like going after the honest person because some criminal which doesn't care what laws you pass is doing crimes and with home invasions going through the roof you are leaving our citizens as sitting ducks .. when the Toronto police chief says on the news for you need to leave you car keys by the front door so when you are invaded they hopefully just take your car and not *ape your children and murder you .... this is the world we are living and it's going to get 10 worse if we let them keep up with this massive over reach which does nothing to stop crime

you think its about safety? or politics? the CIA considers him a tyrant and Canada on the verge of being socialist on its way to communism. disarming the population is never in the populations interest. and would Trump put up with that right next door? I think not...

Castanet must be operated by the beanie wearers. Socialism in full effect on this web page. The RCMP are the problem, conformity is not the solution.

I’m certain the Ukrainians will be overjoyed to receive rimfire semi auto .22 rifles so they too can plink at beer cans and shoot the occasional grouse. And the world laugh at you Bill Blair and you justin Trudeau…..again.
