“Requires coordinated international action”. Do you honestly think countries like China or India will get on board with this program?

Maybe we should ban single-use plastics even more? Or, I don't know, make some changes to the encrapification of most consumer goods so things don't need to constantly be replaced? How about we stop pretending I can 'save the planet' with my reusable shopping bags and force 10 year minimum warranties on everything. If we stop producing garbage goods that constantly fail, we'll start saving some real energy. Also, I am willing to bet that all the data collection that goes on by the software companies burns more than a couple candles. Do we really need all that so they can try to figure out a new way to show me commercials I don't want to watch?

Weird how the earth is drying yet somehow greening at the same time. Plus, just 4 years ago they were saying a warmer earth means a wetter earth.

2019 was the second wettest year on record in the US.

There's a simple solution to that...just stop buying the junk products. Of course buying quality products will cost more, which means employers will have to get on board with concepts like a living wage, but what the heck, eh?
