This article accounted for about 10% of the $21.6 billion.
I wonder what the other $18 billion or so is to be spent on?

Turn back the asylum seekers at the border instead of helping them into our country - the US isn’t war torn country so no asylum is necessary. If you entered the US illegally you shouldn’t now benefit from entering Canada illegally. Breakup the asks - then vote on them individually- stop wasting money!

Cut Quebec off the taxpayers trough and deport every asylum seeker and all the illegal criminals that Trudeau let in to the country

The money just flows like water with little accountability. I have zero faith in these guys successfully carrying out anything, based on their record. Be curious to know the number of dollars Quebec extorted out of the dream team for the "refugee" file.

Time for the USA to tighten up their borders!Phoenix2971 wrote: ↑Dec 10th, 2024, 7:34 am Turn back the asylum seekers at the border instead of helping them into our country - the US isn’t war torn country so no asylum is necessary. If the money stops flowing, that's called a 'depression'. Our economy requires that goods and services are exchanged for currency. Or just currency for more currency, if you're rich.Lumby Glen wrote: ↑Dec 10th, 2024, 7:48 am The money just flows like water with little accountability. The answer should be 1 giant NO! Canada does not have $21B to throw around for them try buying votes. That is exactly what they are trying to do. If Parliament wants a $21b spending bill then each and every one of the MP's needs to take a $1 million dollar pay cut and the PM needs to take a $5million cut. In other words they all need to start paying back the salaries that they are all STEALING from Canada for doing nothing but lying, cheating and stealing. Canadians deserve responsible government, that is not what we have. Time to call it a day liberals, resign immediately.

Is that part of that 70 BILLION dollars to babysit 40,000 Indigenous children already in government care.
That is about 1.75 million dollars per child !!
That is a lot of money for diapers and baby formulae, even if a baby sitter was paid minimum wages 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week
