"proudly economic nationalist"... that has a nice ring to it. Maybe one day soon we can return to a sense of pride in our country. Like maybe we can drop the shame farming about all the terrible things that were done 150 years ago.

Well Mrs. Chrystia Freeland Ma'am, your uncertainty is our demise, so please step down.

'Canada needs to be assertive in fighting for capital'

Freeland must be joking. The flight of capital out of Canada is unprecedented; driven by irrational policies contrived by a Liberal party that clearly has no clue. This group of morons must be gone!

Let's be honest here people. Trump absolutely hates our soyboy PM. And Trudeau, after the shots have been sent in warning to Canada, thinks he has gonads and delivers a speech dissing the USA by saying that despite everyone's best efforts, the US has chosen not to elect a female as president. He further goes on to declare he is different and women can be assured that he has their backs and that he is a feminist that they can always count on to support their rights..
Can we Canadians possibly get anything worse than this waste of human skin that is JT?
I am hoping someone can post a link to JT's statement....I don't have time now.

We don't need Trump to cause us economic uncertainty, we already have it.

Here's a guy who always tiptoes around commenting on US politics, but chooses this moment to go on and on about women suffering a setback and why didn't they elect Harris. So he's criticizing Trump, US democracy and the US electorate, all at the same time. You literally couldn't think of a worse approach and this cheap shotting was widely reported down there. Trudeau is such a buffoon....he never ceases to amaze with his woke ideology that's so out of sync.

Yes, his name is Pierre Poilievre. Things may not be great now, but it’s going to be ugly with PP in power. He has a long history of voting in parliament against the interests of lower and middle class Canadians, and workers in particular. Based on what he is already selling as policy is going to lead us into a major recession.

Hey Edsel Ford, how could we be any worse off then we are now, high house prices, out-of-control immigration, food banks overwhelmed, porous border, record debt. Tell us what Poilievre will do to make it worse.FordAve wrote: ↑Dec 13th, 2024, 5:39 pmYes, his name is Pierre Poilievre. Things may not be great now, but it’s going to be ugly with PP in power. Perhaps you didn't notice, but our cousins to the south just had an election.
The side that lost tried the 'other guy gonna be bad!' schtick,
It didn't work.
Run on your record.
