It’s long overdue
But these people need to go
These people cannot do anything but raise the cost of living for everyone

They KNOW many people are suffering with the massive increase in the cost of living yet they keep pushing up taxes. Shows they don't give a damn.
And how big was the raise of all those working for the RDGO?

Guess you've never lived outside BC if you think this is the only province taxes go up.

Opinion:
Nope. They can do a lot more - they can raise their wages again.
It appears some people don't know, or think that CORD (AKA RDCO) only collect way-to-high taxes from just areas bordering Kelowna and West Kelowna; they are not. Should look it up. They are why our govt double-dips.

Aw - be nice. they need to pay the costs of living too. Where else can they get enough to cover the increase, plus to satisfy the need to want to spend more, other than raising taxes?

Google AI wrote: Explanation:
  • The RDCO's 2025 financial plan includes $69.9 million in operating expenditures, which is $4 million more than 2024.
  • Staff remuneration is the largest cost driver, making up one-third of total expenses.
  • The 2024-2028 Financial Plan for the RDCO was approved on March 14, 2024.
  • The plan outlined a total operating budget of $65.6 million for 2024, which was a 6.7% increase from 2023.
    Generative AI is experimental.
They seem try to hide staff wages and/or increases.
If you think that's scary, better ask your boss for a 40% increase so you can afford to pay the new taxes coming from the federalies, municipal, regional, and newly named fees that were in taxes the years before.
RDCO Board adopts the 2024-2028 Financial Plan
