This won't improve downtown. It will make it worse.

Before you get on your high horse and denigrate the work of "Upper Room Mission" maybe repeat the following......"There but for the Grace of God there go I." A question. If not the Upper Room then what.......Just sayin'.

Yep... It's great seeing the decline of the downtown core, all for "the grace of God"
Give me a break.

Build a complex on the Aberdeen plateau. Use non-flammable metal mini -storage container homes.
Supply potatoes and turnups every day and have the occupants start their own community.

Learn from History, In the 18th century " King Frederick the Great " wanted to protect the people from famine . The people did not want to eat potatoes so he labeled them as " Royal Potatoes , posted unscrupulous guards.
The people thought they must be good since they were guarded so started to steal them.

Hopefully it will be a lot tidier than the current place is now. The dry shelter, detox, and sober living is a positive step. We've been catering to addiction for too long. I'm all for meeting people where they're at and supporting but letting the inmates run the Asylum cannot continue.
