Well that comment is rude. Hard working staff member in medical imaging. Not impressed with the attitude.. Everyone at the hospital works hard on the public’s behalf..

It is ok Connie65, some lights are bright, some are dim and could use an upgrade. That is why the hospital is upgrading. thank you for your service

Actually before upgrading the lightning, how about improving security for the staff inside every hospital in IHA.
Then improve lighting and security outside every hospital in IHA.
Then improve lighting and security outside every hospital in IHA.

The lack of lighting outside is an issue due to the amount of theft and vandalism employees are experiencing. Health care workers are also predominantly female and with the amount of homeless, high, and mentally unstable people in that area... I understand why they're doing this. I've heard from multiple IH workers first hand that there has been downright dangerous incidents involving employees around the hospital, especially for those on night shifts.
They're not going to hire security to patrol the lot because-- like you said-- that is more needed inside. I think the lighting is a good permanent solution with a fixed cost (beyond the electricity, of course!)

Digital medical records so hackers can get our health records and hold it hostage or government

Thank you Marvin. I am one of the evening staff that leaves at 11 p.m. Definitely the lighting is inconsistent. Being brighter will be nice.

Where would you rather they store "our health records" with easy access for staff?tinkerbell wrote: ↑Jan 12th, 2025, 10:33 am Digital medical records so hackers can get our health records and hold it hostage or government
"easy access"? Yes. So people don't go on about it taking staff to long to get our records.
FYI. You won't believe me so, ask IHA where your data is stored - you'll be surprised at the answer.
But, IMO you are right to be concerned about your privacy. Nurses have been punished for peeking at patient records that some of the staff have no business viewing.
Just because there is a keyboard at a monitor reading your file doesn't mean the file is at KGH.
It boils down to what the higher anarchy that have zero knowledge/training in what to demand from the outside 3rd party managing our files need to have.

Not rude just true.
I worked in health care for 32 years, IH were the most unfit, top heavy, toxic work envirnment ever.
Too bad it took 32 years of my wasted time to quit.
Heu. Are also useless.
