This is your NDP government hard a work. Their claims that the Conservatives would be closing hospitals and wards is exactly what they are doing due to understaffing. It is time for the understaffing to be done at the legislature, and I am not talking about the office workers. They have about 80% too many ministers doing diddly squat, waiting to qualify for their golden pensions. Less ministers need to be doing more work. Just as bad at the Federal level, all a bunch of crooks reaching into our pockets at every opportunity.

If only John Rustad had have won the election. We would have all the nurses and doctors that we need. Staffing lists would be overflowing with qualified professionals. It's only common sense.

Did Rustad have a bunch of doctors and nurses in a warehouse to deploy immediately? Where are they supposed to come from. We are already gaining some gradually from those leaving Alberta, foreign doctors getting certified and the regular growth from universities. I don't know where Rustad would produce these from, what was the plan?bob vernon wrote: ↑Jan 13th, 2025, 11:39 am If only John Rustad had have won the election. I remember fondly when the B.C Liberals closed hospitals in my region and had plans to close others including the one in my community. They also happily cut funding to training seats for nurses and doctors. They had zero plans for the future even though they were warned that labour shortages were coming when boomers started to retire. The B.C. cons are in large part made up of ex B..C liberals. Not what they would do differently now.56RLJ wrote: ↑Jan 13th, 2025, 9:08 am This is your NDP government hard a work.
